I was born in Kansas City, MO.  My parents wanted to give me a Christian education so I attend Catholic schools for twelve years.  Their ambitions for me, given the money they spent on it, sadly are still unrealized. I attended the University of Kansas, otherwise known as Harvard on the Kaw, where I graduated with a degree in English and, because I was a little lost about my next move, I got a masters degree in History at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Then not having anything better to do, I wandered around the wheels of commerce for the next 35 or so years until May 2017 when my job was eliminated. I am now taking this opportunity to blog as I have a lot of opinions percolating and the time to now share them.  I lean left but am open to arguments as long as they are civil.
